Juliet’s paintings and oil pastels of musicians are all developed from sketchbook drawings. Some are of brilliant young musicians she has made at live classical recitals at St Peter’s Church in Marlborough, Wiltshire. Others are from sketches made over time from concerts in Italy and Wiltshire, including amateur to world class musicians including the clarinetist Emma Johnson.

“With the constant flowing movement between player, instrument and each other,” says Juliet. “Musicians are subjects I can’t resist.”
